One of my favourite authors, Terry Pratchett, has announced that he has been diagnosed with a form of early onset alzheimers disease - the likely cause of a “phantom stroke” earlier this year. In his announcement on Paul Kidby’s website he goes on to say the announcement should be taken as a “I am not dead yet” and asks fans to be positive and good humoured about the situation.
